Finally hung it over our reading nook and the hand-blown glass globe catches the evening light beautifully. That counterbalance against the wall makes it feel almost weightless, and the furled arm has this quiet, organic presence that my plain lamps just couldn't match.
The way that furling arm curls up and counterbalances against the ceiling is such a clever touch—it makes the globe seem to float in midair. The glass itself has a lovely weight to it, and the whole piece draws the eye from across the room.
The hand-blown glass globe catches the light in a way that makes the whole room feel softer, and the way it counterbalances against the wall is genuinely clever. It took me a few minutes to figure out the best spot to hang it, but now it's the first thing guests comment on when they walk in.
