Modo-serien er inspireret af de færdiglavede, standarddele, som man kan finde i billige belysningsbutikker. I modsætning til disse er Modo dog omhyggeligt konstrueret og specialfremstillet med CNC-fræsning i massiv aluminium. Eger- og navsystemet giver mulighed for snesevis af konfigurationer, hvilket gør Modo lige så alsidig, som den er smuk.
Machined parts are crisper than anything I've seen at the big-box lighting aisle, and the threads seat together with zero slop. It's clearly not a mass-produced piece, the kind of precision you actually notice when you're tightening it down.
The fit and finish are way beyond what you'd expect from something that looks like a basic off-the-shelf fixture. I spent a good few minutes just running my fingers along the CNC-milled edges, they're that precise.
The machining on this thing is so clean it’s almost a shame to hide it behind a lampshade. You can tell it’s not one of those flimsy off-the-shelf fixtures just by picking it up.
