Die Kollektion Miller's Knot ist eine Verdichtung eines Projekts, das für die Heller Gallery entstanden ist. Große Spiegel wurden gerahmt und mit ineinander verschlungenen „Ranken“ bedeckt. Die Knot-Kollektion nutzt das kleinste Detail dieser Stücke, um die platonischen Rahmen zu durchbrechen und Aufhängepunkte für jeden Spiegel zu schaffen.
I was a little worried it would look too busy on the wall, but the way the vines taper off from the frame keeps it elegant instead of overwhelming. The craftsmanship on the intertwining is seriously meticulous up close.
The way the intertwined vines wrap around the frame feels almost sculptural, like a tiny piece of the Heller Gallery project you can hang at home. The detail is so fine that I keep noticing new twists every time I walk past it.
The vine pattern is so intricate up close, you can see it’s a true miniature of the full-scale mirror project. It’s surprisingly lightweight for the detail work, and it’s already the first thing guests comment on when they walk in.
