Conçu à l'origine comme un candélabre, Agnes s'inspire de l'héroïne fictive du même nom, une travailleuse du plus vieux métier du monde pendant la ruée vers l'or en Californie en 1849. Le système modulaire permettrait à Agnes de s'installer facilement dans son « espace de travail » improvisé. Dans cette version, des tubes de verre lumineux remplacent les bougies. Des articulations permettent d'agencer le verre de multiples façons.
