Comme Endless, la collection Mini de Jason Miller a été conçue à l'origine comme un luminaire faisant office d'élément architectural. Cependant, l'échelle et la construction de Mini s'inspirent des mâts en bois des navires. Avant les matériaux avancés et la production industrielle, les voiliers en bois étaient les merveilles d'ingénierie de leur époque. Par nécessité, leur construction était aussi inventive que belle.
