The weight caught me off guard when I lifted it out of the box—in a good way. It feels substantial and true to the Hudson Valley aesthetic, like something that belongs on a countryside porch. We hung it by the back door and the tone carries just far enough across the yard.
Rang it on the porch for the first time and the tone carried through the whole yard, warm and clear without being harsh. The finish feels rustic but refined, like it belongs right in the Hudson Valley scenery.
The bell's weight has a real presence when you ring it, and the patina feels like it belongs on a porch in the Hudson Valley. It's become the little ritual sound of our mornings now.
