The way the light filters through the ceramic shade completely changes the mood of my dining room — it's warm and soft, not harsh at all. I love that it keeps that traditional vessel-inspired silhouette, so it feels both handmade and modern.
The ceramic shade has real weight to it, which makes me trust the craftsmanship, but the cord could be a bit longer if your ceiling is high. Still, the way it brings that hand-thrown, vessel-inspired shape into our dining room is exactly what I was after.
The ceramic shade is lovely and the vessel-inspired shape definitely stands out, but the hanging kit feels a bit basic for the price. It works fine, just wasn't blown away by the overall finish once I got it up.
