The natural oil finish brings out the grain in the solid American hardwood beautifully, and the modern form feels substantial without being bulky. I’ve had it on my desk for a week and the color has only gotten richer.
The oil finish gives it a nice natural glow, and the wood feels sturdy overall. But I was expecting the color to be a bit richer in person versus the photos, so it's a slight letdown for the price.
