The natural oil finish brings out this gorgeous warmth in the grain that photos just don't capture, and it feels incredibly smooth to the touch. I've had it for two weeks now and the solid hardwood construction makes it feel like a piece that'll last decades.

The oil finish really lets the grain of the solid hardwood shine, and the modern shape feels substantial without being clunky. It's got that handcrafted weight to it that makes you stop and admire it every time you walk by.

The solid American hardwood feels substantial, and the natural oil finish has a pleasant matte look, but the modern form is a bit boxier in person than the photos suggested. It's a nice piece, just not quite the standout I hoped for.
