The machining on this is so precise it feels like a piece of jewelry rather than a light fixture—every thread and edge lines up perfectly. It's clearly not the flimsy stuff you'd grab off a shelf, and the weight alone tells you it'll last.
You can really tell the difference between this and the cheap ready-made fixtures at the hardware store—the CNC machining is precise, with no rough edges or wobble anywhere. It went together in about ten minutes and looks like it cost three times as much.
