The rounded, ribbed glass feels substantial yet delicate in person, and the antique brass base has a lovely, understated patina. Set it on a side table and the warm, diffused light completely changes the mood of the room.
The Venetian glass has this incredible depth in the light—warm and diffused, exactly as described—and the antique brass base feels weighty and well-made. I was worried the ribbed silhouette would look busy, but it floats beautifully on my sideboard and ties the whole room together.
The rounded, ribbed shape feels almost weightless on the shelf, and that warm diffused glow makes my reading corner feel like a little sanctuary at night. I picked the amber-tinted one and it’s honestly the first thing guests comment on when they walk in.
