Humboldt

The glaze on this mug shifts from deep brown to a soft amber depending on the light, which caught me off guard in the best way. It's clearly made by hand, with subtle unevenness that makes it feel personal. I've already got my eye on another piece from the collection.

The stoneware has a lovely heft to it, and the custom glaze turned out even more striking in person than on screen. It feels like a piece that was actually made with care, not mass-produced. I'm already eyeing another one.
