The machined finish on this is honestly what sold me—it looks like a cheap store fixture from across the room, but the moment you hold it you can feel the precision in every edge. I’ve had mine for a few weeks now and it’s holding up exactly as it should.
The counterweight feels perfectly balanced right out of the box, and the machined edges have a precision you just don't find in the cheap ready-made lamps I've handled before. It's clearly built to last, even if it costs a bit more upfront.
The CNC-machined finish is noticeably cleaner than the cheap store fixtures it’s styled after, so it doesn’t feel flimsy at all. Only wish the mounting hardware were a bit more forgiving for odd ceiling angles, but for a straightforward install it’s solid.
