Oorspronkelijk bedacht als kandelaar, laat Agnes zich inspireren door de fictieve heldin met dezelfde naam, een werkster in het oudste beroep ter wereld tijdens de Californische goldrush van 1849. Het modulaire systeem zou Agnes in staat stellen om haar geïmproviseerde ‘werkruimte’ eenvoudig in te richten. In deze versie vervangen gloeiende glazen buizen de kaarsen. Dankzij scharnierende verbindingen kan het glas op talloze manieren worden gerangschikt.
