Geïnspireerd door Japanse verpakkingen, boeien en shibari, is Knotty Bubbles een sculpturaal licht gemaakt van handgeblazen glazen 'bubbels' die met geknoopt touw zijn samengebonden.
The way the hand-blown glass catches the light is genuinely mesmerizing — each bubble feels like its own tiny world. The knotted rope adds just the right texture, making it feel more like a piece of art than a lamp.
The knotted rope binding is what sold me—it gives the whole piece this organic, almost nautical feel that totally changes the room's vibe once it's lit. The hand-blown glass catches the light in these soft, uneven ways that no mass-produced lamp could pull off.
The hand-blown glass bubbles catch the light so softly at dusk, and the knotted rope binding them feels sturdy yet organic. It’s like a little piece of Japanese craftsmanship floating in my living room, and guests always stop to ask about it.
