I was nervous it would look gimmicky in my hallway, but the irregular balance point makes it feel like a tiny art installation. Even as a single piece it holds its own, and I'm already planning a second one to run as a repeating architectural line.
The way it balances off-center is what sold me—each piece feels like its own little sculpture, but I hung three in a row and the rhythm they create together is even better. The finish is clean and solid, exactly what I hoped for from the photos.
The irregular balance point is what got me—it looks like it shouldn't stand, yet it holds so confidently. I've got two mounted side by side as a repeating rhythm down the hallway, and the single-piece look is just as striking on its own.
