The ribbed glass really does seem to float above the brass base, and the way it diffuses light is so soft and warm it instantly changed the mood in my hallway. I keep catching myself just staring at the glow instead of walking past it.

The ribbed glass really does seem to float above the brass base—the warm glow it casts across my nightstand is softer than any lamp I've owned. I keep catching myself just staring at the way the light diffuses through those rounded curves.

The antique brass base feels heavier and more substantial than I expected, which makes the whole piece sit beautifully on the sideboard. The ribbed glass throws exactly that soft, warm glow I was hoping for, and it's genuinely changed how the corner of the room feels at night.
