The Laddi

I was a little nervous the glass would look cheap in person, but it’s genuinely luminous—even with a low-watt bulb the whole room gets a soft glow. The brass points are heavier than expected and feel solid, and the mix of materials somehow works perfectly in our hallway.

The way the brass points catch the light while the glass glows softly is exactly the North-meets-South look I was hoping for. It’s a small detail, but the two materials feel like they’re truly talking to each other, not just stuck together.

The points on this sconce are so distinct, each one catching the light differently—the brass feels solid and timeless while the glass glows warmly. It’s the perfect bridge between old and new in our hallway, and I catch myself staring at it every time I walk by.
