Die Modo-Serie wurde von den vorgefertigten Standardteilen inspiriert, die man in günstigen Beleuchtungsgeschäften findet. Anders als diese ist Modo jedoch sorgfältig konstruiert und wird aus massivem Aluminium CNC-gefräst. Das Speichen-und-Naben-System ermöglicht Dutzende von Konfigurationen und macht Modo ebenso vielseitig wie schön.
The machining is what got me—it's so precise you can tell it's not one of those flimsy store fixtures, despite the classic shape. It feels solid and looks sharp right out of the box, way better than the cheap stuff I was comparing it to.
The machining on this one is noticeably cleaner than the cheap fixtures I’ve handled before—the threads engage smoothly and the whole thing feels solid. Instruction sheet was a bit sparse, but once I figured out the mounting it worked exactly as expected.
The CNC-milled finish looks great on the shelf, but I wasn't expecting the assembly to take as long as it did—the screws felt a little fiddly to line up. Once it's together, the light itself is solid and does the job, though I can't say it feels dramatically different from cheaper options.
