Miller's Knot collection is a distillation of a project done for the Heller Gallery. Large mirrors were framed and covered with intertwined “vines”. The Knot collection uses the smallest detail from those pieces to break the platonic frames and create a hanging points for each mirror.
The smallest vine detail carries the whole design—it’s intricate up close but reads clean from across the room. I hung mine in the hallway and keep catching myself stopping to trace the curves.
The way those intertwined vines catch the light changes as you walk past, and the scale of the piece feels far grander than the photos suggested. It's a real conversation starter in our hallway.
