Miller's Knot collection is a distillation of a project done for the Heller Gallery. Large mirrors were framed and covered with intertwined “vines”. The Knot collection uses the smallest detail from those pieces to break the platonic frames and create a hanging points for each mirror.
The mirror’s frame is surprisingly tactile—I keep running my hand along the vines, and the detail holds up beautifully from a distance and up close. It’s a statement piece, but not loud, if that makes sense.
The way the vines wrap and overlap around the frame catches the light from every angle, it's genuinely sculptural. I hung it in my hallway and it's become the first thing guests comment on.
The intricate vine detailing on this mirror frame is even more striking in person—each twist catches the light differently depending on where you stand. Having it on my wall feels like a small gallery piece, and the craftsmanship makes the whole room look intentional.
