Miller's Knot collection is a distillation of a project done for the Heller Gallery. Large mirrors were framed and covered with intertwined “vines”. The Knot collection uses the smallest detail from those pieces to break the platonic frames and create a hanging points for each mirror.
The smallest detail from that project really carries the whole piece—the intertwined vines look almost organic up close, like they could keep growing. It’s subtle but adds so much depth to the frame.
The vine pattern catches the light beautifully against the mirror's frame, and it's even more intricate in person than in the photos. It's a piece that makes my entryway feel like a gallery.
The smallest vine detail from the Heller project translates beautifully here—it’s delicate up close but bold from across the room. I hung it in my hallway and catch myself stopping to trace the curves every time I pass.
