The Modo series was inspired by the kinds of ready-made, off-the-shelf parts that can be found at inexpensive lighting stores. Unlike those, however, Modo is painstakingly engineered and custom CNC-milled from solid aluminum. The spoke-and-hub system allows for dozens of configurations, making Modo as versatile as it is beautiful.
I was expecting flimsy hardware-store quality, but the machining is precise and the finish feels far more premium than the price suggests. The threaded base screwed on perfectly flush without any wobble or alignment issues.
Every seam and edge feels machined to perfection, not stamped out like the cheap store fixtures I've handled before. It's got that solid, precise weight that makes you forget it's a budget-friendly find.
The finish is so clean it looks like a custom job, not something off the shelf—the CNC work really shows on every edge. I’ve had it for a week and it’s already the first thing I reach for when I need a light.
