The Modo series was inspired by the kinds of ready-made, off-the-shelf parts that can be found at inexpensive lighting stores. Unlike those, however, Modo is painstakingly engineered and custom CNC-milled from solid aluminum. The spoke-and-hub system allows for dozens of configurations, making Modo as versatile as it is beautiful.
The custom CNC milling is so precise that every joint clicks together perfectly, no wobble or gaps anywhere. I’ve had cheap fixtures before that felt flimsy, but this one’s got a heft and solidity that makes it feel worth every penny.
The machining is flawless—every thread and edge feels like it was cut with obsessive care, not stamped out. I’ve handled boutique fixtures twice the price that don’t have this level of precision.
The CNC machining is what sold me — you can tell by how clean every edge is compared to the flimsy stamped stuff at big-box stores. It’s got that solid, precise feel that makes it worth the extra money, and it’s already holding up better than any fixture I’ve owned.
