Modo-serien inspirerades av de färdiga, standardiserade delar som finns i billiga belysningsbutiker. Till skillnad från dessa är Modo dock noggrant konstruerad och CNC-fräst i massiv aluminium. Ekrarna och navet möjliggör dussintals konfigurationer, vilket gör Modo lika mångsidig som vacker.
Wasn't expecting much from a ready-made-style fixture, but the custom CNC machining makes every joint feel solid and deliberate. The brushed metal catches the light in a way the cheap store versions just can't match.
The machining is what sold me—every edge on this is perfectly smooth and precise, exactly what you'd hope for from something custom CNC'd instead of the flimsy stamped stuff at the hardware store. It feels like a real upgrade for my lighting setup, solid and weighty in the hand.
The CNC-milled finish is flawless, but I wish the shade came in a slightly warmer tone to match my living room. Still, the precision of the cut edges makes it look far more expensive than it was.
