För första gången utökar Jesse Shaw sitt keramiska arbete till hängande lampor. I was a little worried about how the ceramic would handle the heat from the bulb, but the pendant’s finish has stayed flawless after a month of nightly use. The way it casts that warm, vessel-inspired glow across the dining table makes the whole room feel different.
The pendant’s shape really does carry that hand-thrown vessel feel, and the way the light diffuses through the ceramic is softer than I expected. I’ve hung mine in the entryway and it’s become the first thing guests comment on.
