Ursprungligen tänkt som en ljusstake, hämtar Agnes sin inspiration från den fiktiva hjältinnan med samma namn, en arbetare i världens äldsta yrke under guldrushen i Kalifornien 1849. Det modulära systemet skulle göra det möjligt för Agnes att enkelt sätta upp sin provisoriska "arbetsplats". I den här versionen ersätts ljusen av glödande glasrör. Ledade fogar gör att glaset kan arrangeras på en mängd olika sätt.
